Terri Adams • Head Coach

In her nine seasons, Saint Joseph's head coach Terri Adams has transformed the Hawks into one of the elite teams in the Atlantic 10 and the region. The 2013 A-10 Coach of the Year has led her squad to seven Atlantic 10 Tournament appearances and three A-10 title games, with 25 Hawks earning All-Conference honors and 12 garnering All-Region accolades.

Headed by a youthful squad in 2014, Saint Joseph’s advanced to the semifinals of the A-10 Championship and finished the season with a 22-20 mark. Helping juniors Melissa Ruf and Ashley Alden to A-10 All-conference honors, Adams earned her 200th career victory in SJU’s victory over Dayton at the A-10 Championship.

Along with Ruf and Alden’s honors, rookie Niki Carillo became the first SJU pitcher named to the A-10 All-Rookie squad, while Alden and sophomore Hannah Dionne were selected to NFCA All-Region squads.

Leading the Hawks to three A-10 Tournament berths, she is one of just six players in program history to amass 100 hits and 100 RBIs, while her .461 batting average from 2008 remains a program record. Upon graduation she received both the 2010 A-10 Sporting Award and the Saint Joseph's Class of 1950 Award.

Under Mineau's guidance, Seton Hill posted the best start to a season, going 12-3 to begin 2014 and finished with a 20-20 overall record while the team set the single season record for batting average (.315). Individually, four Griffins earned All-PSAC West honors, and two were named to the NFCA Division II All-Atlantic Region Team. Other highlights included Carlee Wickstrom setting the single season record for home runs (12) and freshman pitcher Amanda Huff tossing a no-hitter in her first collegiate game.
